We got our wedding pictures a couple of days ago from Graham and they are so beautiful. Thank you so much for guiding us and offering your opinions. Planning a wedding from afar is so difficult, but you were so great with all of our questions and steered us in the right direction. We didn’t know if we really needed to rent the beach house, but per your suggestion, we are so glad we did. That place was magical!!! Brother Al was delightful, you picked the perfect person to perform the ceremony. Graham was fantastic and we knew the pictures were going to be wonderful. Thank you also for the gift bag that was delivered to our hotel. That was such a fun surprise and I love the bag!!What is so great about our wedding, is that if someone asked us if we would do anything different, we would honestly answer “No”. EVERYTHING was fun, easy, relaxed, beautiful and just perfect.

Carolee: Hello to you, in paradise! Our pre-wedding dinner party at the Beach House was over a month ago, on December 17, 2011. Somehow I still feel as though I’m on “island time”, but that is not a great excuse for sending out such a late thank you to White Orchid Weddings. Please accept my apologies, and I would like to take a moment to let you know just how wonderful my experience was with your company! Oh, how the memories linger …
I originally found out about the Beach House from my brother and sister- in- law; they are close friends with Judy Sturgis and attended her son’s wedding at your spectacular Makena property. So when my son, and new daughter- in- law, decided to wed at the Kea Lani (they are both physicians completing residency programs, and could only find the time to plan a very simple, small wedding), I immediately booked our pre-wedding party with White Orchid Weddings and began working with Stacey Jones on all the details. The party was designed to help two families come together and get to know each other, right before the wedding day. You can add me to the long list of VERY grateful WOW clients, because … mission accomplished!
It truly was an evening of tropical delights! The Beach House has such great ambience; it’s the perfect backdrop for making dreams become reality! Stacey worked with me to plan a party full of fun surprises; she is such a friendly person and listened to all my ideas. Stacey offered creative help and guidance in a professional, yet relaxed, style. When I finally met her in person, I felt so at ease and knew right away the party would be phenomenal. Walking onto the lawn of the Beach House the day of the event, every detail Stacey and I had discussed long-distance unfolded right before my eyes … the spirit of aloha was everywhere!
Stacy, from Maui Bars Are Us, is truly “one of a kind”!!! Her pre-party emails, and phone calls, made beverage planning a breeze! Even though our party was going to be small, she took care of everything and was excited to help create signature drinks. When I saw her beautiful face on the day of the party, I was thrilled! The bar “set-up” was so festive, and within minutes, she was mingling with our guests, knew people by name, and helped so much to “get the party started”! She has an infectious smile and her warm and friendly personality brought so much great energy to the party. Throughout the evening, when she wasn’t busy filling glasses, she was still busy … making people happy!
The table settings were gorgeous, and while we enjoyed delicious appetizers and drinks, it was nice having photographer Mike Sidney there to capture the memories! Stacey suggested having musician Kawika Regidor play contemporary island and Hawaiian songs for a couple hours; he is so talented – what a voice! The music was so inviting that everyone got up half way through our delicious dinner, catered by From Soup To Nuts, to dance on the lawn under swaying palm trees! After toasts were made in anticipation of the next day’s wedding, drums began beating and we were treated to our own private hula show; everyone laughed hysterically when my son was invited to “bust a move” with the beautiful dancers! And just when we thought the excitement was over, we were treated to a jaw-dropping performance by one of the island’s top fire dancers! Stacey Jones, you out-did yourself on this one!!! * And kudos to Bernie and several other WOW staffers for helping out at the party!
It was truly a magical night … mid-way through the festivities, Kirsten’s sister embraced me and, with tears in her eyes, said “This is the best night of my life … I feel like a princess”. What more can I add to that?

I have put off writting this because I am looking for just the right words. I have decided that there are no words that can tell you how Stacy and I feel about our experience with WOW. This was such a special day for us, but you and your staff made it above and beyond what I thought we could ever experience on our wedding day. Stacey, you made us feel so welcome and comforted throughout the whole process!! The day of the wedding was amazing! I never felt stressed out and most importantly I thought your STAFF was terrific in the way they treated all of our family and friends! Ok, I’m home now in the freezing cold.I need to tell you that I had the best wedding and you all made that possible. It is hard to imagine that everything would have gone so wonderful and the setting was PERFECT. WOW… perfectly summarizes our experience with White Orchid Wedding. We started our quest looking for someone to help us with our destination wedding. Everything had to be detailed and organized prior to our arrival so there would be no last minute surprises. We were fortunate to have chosen WOW. It was one of the best decisions that we made for our trip. As we looked through pictures and internet sites we were worried we were going to be just another customer, a visitor. The WOW website impressed us, and our first phone call sold us. Our wedding day was our most important day, a memory we did not want to loose. The Location, the minister, and the photographer started out to be our biggest concerns. White Orchid Wedding-Stacey assisted us in what we wanted, and every detail of our custom wedding. We wanted a private location with no beach life or surfers in background. Stacey found us our perfect beach, just like we dreamed. We needed a minister that would be personable, and had an interest in our wedding, our relationship and our future together, that hometown feeling. Stacey, found the most amazing minister, who mixed Hawaiian traditions and made us feel like we knew him forever. We loved when he sang our blessing to us… it was out of a storybook. We knew that after the memories faded our memories would be captured by the photos of our wedding … Stacey-WOW introduced us to Graham Chappel… WOW! We wanted a photographer who did not take the typical “Hawaii wedding photos”. This was our big day, the dream wedding we had both been wanted all of our lives. We needed

We were so excited about the day, the moments we spent together laughing in the sand… we hardly knew we were being photographed… then we received the pictures, as we sat with a glass of wine and relieved our special evening, we saw that Graham had captured our moments and our love, and best of all in fact capture “us” on film… truly perfect. Anyone can get married on Maui, but the details organized by Stacey at WOW captured our memories and emotions that will last a lifetime…. Stacey, Linda, Adam and Graham, you made our dream wedding a reality. It was unbelievable, and unforgettable!

Well, the dust has settled (sort of) and we are back in the land of OZ.
Just wanted to write you a note, to say how beautiful everything was on October 3. The location was just beyond spectacular…….our friends and family have all commented on it’s incredible beauty. Everything looked just so gorgeous, especially that exquitiste dining table you created for us. Adam Gomes was just brilliant, he really added a very important & memorable contribution to our day. He spoke so beautifully, and I really tried to slow my thoughts down so that I could remember everything he was saying. We just loved him. (and the conch was a surprise too – just great). From our point of view, it was a very emotional & memorable ceremony…..Ron & Tarvin were absolutley brilliant. We so appreciated them combining as a duo on the day – and their voices together were wonderful. For me, the moment I just lost it was when I heard those first few lyrics to “Angel”…..I think John did too….Stacey was so much fun, and she was such a warm & personally engaging woman to have at the wedding. Everyone remarked how great she was. The flowers, espcially the bouquets were absolutely gorgeous. We took my bouquet down to the pool the next day and kept it in a champagne bucket so that we could enjoy it just a bit longer – and John wore his maile (at my request) when he went off the Tarzan Rope at Grand Wailea the next day…..very funny. I’ve forgotten his name, but the driver who picked us up was great too – so friendly and thoughtful, offering us waters and really caring for my Mum as she arrived at the venue. Anthony and his assistant were just brilliant – the kids enjoyed him so much – and we can’t WAIT to see the photos. He was extremely kind & gracious as well, and we’re so glad he was there with us on the day.
Thank you Jackie, for pulling everything together….people here in Sydney have remarked that the setting & setup looked like something out of a movie set. I like to think of it as a storybook beginning to our married life.
Mahalo to everyone on your team at White Orchid. If I could fly back there tomorrow and do it all again – I would. You guys are an incredibly special group of people.

Everyone went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect for us and our guests. They were prompt in returning all of my calls and emails all through the planning process and offered excellent choices. They were very patient and very sincere. The Photographer & Videographer spent so much extra time making sure that the perfect photos & moments were captured that we will forever cherish.
They are true caring people and I think the best wedding planners you could ever imagine. I would recommend them to anyone wanting to get married in Maui. We had the moment of our lifetime, forever in our minds. I give them an outstanding 10!

Thank you so much for helping make our special day absolutely fantastic! We felt completely spoiled from beginning to end. Everything was perfect! Steve and I couldn’t have been happier with the outcome of all of our work together. Especially since we were in Arizona and you were in San Francisco. The communications you had with Bernie were on-the-mark and she took care of us and all of our guests as though we were royalty.
I can’t say enough about all of the vendors you helped us choose. My hair and makeup – perfect. The harp and violin duet – beautiful. The setting – out of this world. The cake – superb. Flowers – gorgeous. Photograper – fun. And the most romantic part of the whole event – Tino Rosette. He was absolutely amazing. He made us feel as though we were close, personal friends with all of the emotion of a once-in-a-lifetime event.
Not only did we have a perfect day, but our family and friends did as well. Everyone was extremely impressed with how positively perfect everything went. So much so that my parents now want to renew their vows for their 50th wedding anniversary in the exact same place WITH Tino Rosette. Mahalo, Mahalo, Mahalo Barb. Thank you for your cordination on our wedding. We really enjoyed ourselves so much and so did our guest. It was really nice to have our wedding on the beach. We had rain at reception, but Jillian later told us it is called “angel kiss” and is blessing, so we were lucky. We stayed in Maui for couple of days, riding Sugar Cane Train and visiting Molokini, later on visited Lanai for two days, which turned out to be wonderful. We have finally caught our breath so that we may give you a proper thank you for all that you did to make our destination wedding a dream come true. We cannot begin to tell you how thankful we are for everything you did to ensure that our wedding was better than we imagined. The setting was surreal, the bouquet was the most beautiful that I have ever seen, and the harpist was unbelievable. The minister was so sincere and you even found a cake that was perfect for us! The hairstylist, Regina, was wonderful and captured the exact look that I wanted. The photographer, Steve, made us the most unique album that we have ever seen! People here in WV ask to see it time and again. The videographer, Andrew, did a fantastic job with our video, it was the hit of our reception.
