Kevin and I just returned from our honeymoon and are beginning to get back into reality! I just wanted to thank you so much for all of your help in planning our special day. Everything was perfect and everyone had a wonderful time. I was completely able to relax the minute I got to Hawaii, knowing that the event was in your capable hands! I was so happy to spend a relaxing week with my family and friends before the big day but I could not have done that without you!!
Bernie was a pleasure to work with. She was so laid back and relaxed, yet amazingly efficient! I didn't get anxious until everyone was being seated but I was so thankful for her calm and friendly demeanor which calmed me immediately. I don't know how she was everywhere at once but she managed to keep everything in complete control the entire night! She was absolutely wonderful!!
Also, Kevin and I were so touched at the special gift we received from you and White Orchid Wedding. The Ukulele is beautiful and we were so excited to have Ernest play us a song on it! Kevin hasn't put it down since the wedding...he insisted on bringing it to Kauai instead of sending it back to California with his parents :-)

Hi Barb!
I don't mean to exaggerate, but I think our wedding was just about perfect! We had so many compliments about the wedding, with many of our guests saying it was the best wedding they'd ever been to. Most importantly, Wayne and I had a blast. It was so much fun :). The most nerve-wracking parts were just starting to walk down the aisle with my Dad, and then the "surprise entertainment" provided by Wayne. If Carolee hasn't told you about that already, you should ask her for the details! We have everything recorded on photos and/or video somewhere, so I'll send you some highlights once we get them.
We could never have pulled this off without all your hard work for the entire year before the wedding. On the wedding day, Carolee and Stacey were incredibly helpful. Wayne commented that whenever he turned around, Stacey or Carolee were there to ask him if he needed anything. We can't thank the three of you enough for an unbelievable day.
Enough of the gushing.....if I hear of anyone else thinking about getting married in Maui, I'll have to insist that they contact WOW.

We are back in snowy London and already missing Hawaii! The White Orchid Beach House is stunning, more than we could have dreamed of. The flowers were so lovely - they almost made Libby cry! Please thank Teresa for us.
Judge Rhonda Loo was very friendly and excited for us which was great. She presented our vows beautifully. Ernest, the singer, is extremely talented. Mariah is an angel and also very talented.
Our guests raved about the food and the bar man (Giovanni?) charmed all the girls and served delicious cocktails. Jackie answered all our silly questions when we met her the day before the wedding and she was extremely helpful on the day. She made us feel right at home and we both felt so confident in her skills that we were able to just enjoy the day without a worry in the world. It was so lovely to have her at our wedding.
Thank you very much for your hard work and patience. We know we have left out a lot of things that you organized for us but you did a fantastic job and, looking back, we wouldn't change a thing! We are extremely happy with the start to our married life.

Hats off to your company and staff (specifically Linda Santos) for helping to create a wedding to remember! My wedding day turned out to be more than I ever dreamed of. Our guests were blown away by the natural beauty of the White Orchid Beach House and the work of Linda and her staff to keep us on schedule and guest attendees happy.
Linda's professionalism and attention to detail made it possible for me and my husband to enjoy our wedding day, as I believe all brides and grooms should be able to do. I have been to enough weddings to know that is not always the case. Linda won our trust and made it easy for me to hand over the responsibilities.
We received nothing but positive feedback from family and friends who traveled great distance to attend our wedding. I met Shad six years ago and started dragging him along to all the races. It started out as I wonder if we can do it, get married on the start/finish line at Barber. We also, wanted to bring out all of family and friends and introduce them to something they have never seen or been to, with the hopes they will fall in love with racing just as much as we have. We called American Honda and started working with Stacey Jones, she was such a gem to work with and a very detailed person, and helped pull off a dream wedding for us and our family and friends. I never in a million years would have thought it possible to be married on a race track, let alone one as beautiful as Barber.
Stacey also had a few surprises for us, one of our favorite riders Jake Zemke, showed up at our reception and shared a toast with all our family and friends, and then Ben Bostrom another rider, showed up with a gift of old racing boots inscribed with this quote. These boots have seen their ups and downs, but they have always stayed a pair.
Thank you Stacey for all the hard work, attention to details and all the little surprises, it really made our day special and being on three local TV stations did give us a little local fame.

I was so fortunate to have Bernie plan both of my 50th birthday celebrations. At the first celebration in San Francisco, Bernie showcased my newly renovated Edwardian home by tenting the whole back yard. The food was catered through one of the best Italian restaurants in San Francisco, and far less expensive than I ever thought something like that could be done. Everything moved smoothly and like clockwork. Quite a night ... and perhaps the first topic of conversation with all my guests was,"Who is your planner?"All I did was look around and point to Bernie! My second party which, of course, Bernie insisted I have in case I didn't live to be 100, was for a smaller group of people with lots of kids involved. So rather than the fancy, over the top affair we had in San Francisco, Bernie suggested a low key, casual picnic day at the beach with people coming and going all day long. It was so simple, fun, and relaxing enough that I was able to have a good visit with ALL of my guests. Bernie put in some personal touches that made the occasion unique, like custom made candy bars with my picture on them and Golden Mickey Mouse ears for me to wear during dessert. With both events, all my guests were so impressed with how Bernie could think of every minute detail to fit the occasion and location, and yet be so calm and personable the entire time. Event planning is definitely in her blood, fortunately for me!

beach. We had rain at reception, but Jillian later told us it is called "angel

of days, riding Sugar Cane Train and visiting Molokini, later on visited Lanai
for two days, which turned out to be wonderful. We really loved both Maui and

Dear Linda, Now that we are back from Hawaii, I wanted to thank you SO much
for the wonderful job you and the vendors did on our wedding. Things were remarkably
easy from the day we decided to go with A White Orchid Wedding. I kept wondering
when I would become frantic with all of the last minute details, but it never
happened. I loved Linda, the hairstylist. I felt great when she was finished
with me. The decorations, location, harpist and minister were lovely. Brado
was awesome and a good sport as we brought him down a few levels to play the
silly songs we requested. The food was very tasty and the staff great. Our
only wish is that it could have lasted longer...

Sorry it took me so long to write this email, things have been so busy since I arrived home. Clint and I would just like to thank you for a beautiful wedding, it was more wonderful than we could have ever imagined. Everything went so smooth and was so not stressful, which was my major concern. It was perfect! We loved every bit of it! It was my dream! We had the perfect day, the perfect site, the perfect minister, the perfect weather, the perfect on site coordinator Bernie, the perfect photographer Graham is amazing!!!! The perfect flowers, time, Celia on the harp, and enjoyed the best meal ever at Spago with the best service and the cake was unbelievably good, many said it was the best cake they had ever had, of which one was my husband LeMar, he loved it!!!!!!!!!!! Dear Carolee,
On April 21, 2007, A White Orchid Wedding, Inc. coordinated our daughter Kate's wedding at the White Orchid Beach House, Linda Santos was the event coordinator. Sometimes it is very difficult, especially here on Maui, to remain focused on the goal of providing a special, memorable moment for two young people to understand and share their commitments and pledges. We often think of Maui weddings as more "picture opportunities." It was our goal to create this special moment for Kate and Cory. Linda was a critical participant. Weddings are emotionally fragile events and the slightest confusion or problem can set the stage for "drama".
Kate and Cory's wedding was not only drama-free, it was also perfect in every way. The young couple got their special moment and are looking forward to a lifetime memory of a grand beginning. Linda greeted Kate as she walked through the gate with a big huge and a resassurance that all was in order, setting the stage for a spectacular evening. Linda's organizational skills made for a smooth and fun event for all. In addition, Linda continuously reinforced the idea that the event was about the commitment and shared love-morethan just a "princess ball" and a photo op".

especially want to commend Linda for the subtle touches she arranged: the whale breaching off shore, the turtle heads popping in the surf, enough surf to make the shore interesting without making it an interference, the moon shining directly down on the party with a few wispy clouds drifting by, a sky full of stars and just the right amount of gentle tropical breezes to make the veil blow gracefully across the bride's back. These were truly beyond the expected, but because everything went so smoothly the wedding party could enjoy them.
We could not be more pleased with your organization and with Linda Santos!
