Stacey Jones
White Orchid is now located in sunny southern California! Allow us to introduce our premiere wedding and event specialist, Stacey Jones. Stacey is our San Diego based event planner and part-time Maui resident. Stacey offers the best of both worlds as she will literally bring the islands to you! Sometimes planning can seem so far away, we have cured that, as Stacey is available to assist with the preliminary details on your side of the sea. Traveling monthly to Hawaii, she specializes in premiere custom wedding events with a "hands on" approach to best assist her wedding couples. While she is available to all couples in the Southern California region, clients from all over the globe often request her.
Originally raised on the Oregon Coast, Stacey moved to the islands for much of her life living primarily in Honolulu. Over the years as a kaimaiina, she decided to pursue a career in professional sports. Her path led her to San Diego where she began her event planning business in 1995. Stacey obtained a degree in Communications and Sports Marketing. She did not stop there and continued on to receive another degree in Environmental Resource Management.
Known as the "go to" person to get things done, Stacey has excelled in this field and now has an extensive resume of accomplishments.
Having worked for NASCAR, Honda motorcycle racing, hockey, golf and many other sporting events, Stacey handled publicity for many high profile athletes such as Dale Earnhardt, Jr., Michael Waltrip, Kevin Harvick, Jeremy McGrath, Ricky Carmichael and Moto GP World Champion Nicky Hayden. In addition, she has booked and planned charity events for Boys and Girls Club, City of Hope and Make a Wish Foundation. On a wilder note‰¥Ïshe has also worked in the concert promotion field with concerts such as Big Bad Voo Doo Daddy, Jeff Foxworthy, Paul Vasser, General Public, POD, Martina McBride and Terry Clark. Her national media affiliates include ESPN/EXPN, FOX Sports Net, NBC, ABC and CBS. Her events ranged in size from 50 to 100,000 guests/spectators.
Stacey's love of the aloha spirit and island way of life has led her to back to Hawaii where we are delighted to have her as a part of White Orchid. Simply put, she is a natural at planning and loves her niche as an event specialist with our team. Her warm and friendly demeanor and very personal approach towards planning your day will be much desired and her efficient attention to detail unsurpassed.
